PGRI's LOTTERY INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME 2007
Paul Jason, CEO, Public Gaming Research Institute, is pleased to announce the 2007 selections for PGRI's LOTTERY INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME. Names of the three outstanding lottery professionals chosen this year are listed below.
The Hall of Fame was founded by Public Gaming in 2005 as a means of honoring those who have done most to make the world lottery industry the great success that it is. The recipients this year are all a credit to that ideal.
Like halls of fame in other industries, only a few of those nominated this year were elected to the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame for 2007. But like Hollywood's Oscars, it is a distinct and noteworthy honor to have been nominated for the Hall of Fame. In that regard, those who are not chosen this year can be nominated again and hopefully chosen in future years.
The previously chosen Hall of Fame members chose the three new members from among nine nominees. Biographical information on each nominee, as supplied by the nominators, was supplied to the judges to assist them in their voting. The selection procedure used is noted on this website under the heading, PROCEDURE.
PGRI, and their peers in the world lottery industry, congratulate the three, 2007 members of PGRI's Lottery Industry Hall of Fame. They join a very select and distinguished group of world lottery industry professionals.
